We made our debut in Barcelona in 2023 with the opening of the showroom, and now it’s ready to truly come to life after the exciting renovation it has undergone over the past few months. We’re fully committed to making Barcelona a key stronghold in our expansion across all markets.

Grupo Forma 5 has always been known for its quality designs and ultimate comfort, but it is with the arrival of esPattio that the brand has successfully combined all of that with the essence of the south. The arrival of our soft seating brand has allowed us to enhance Forma 5’s hallmark quality with designs inspired by the light, colour and warmth that are so intrinsic to our land, along with a commitment to sustainable design.

esPattio is an office furniture brand that draws its aesthetic from the Mediterranean style, so closely linked to Barcelona’s architecture. Being “from the south” isn’t just about Andalusia; it is a broad, almost universal concept that certainly finds its in a cosmopolitan city like the Catalan capital, Barcelona.

Opening hours and how to get to our Barcelona showroom

Our showroom in Barcelona reflects the company’s ambition to expand into all the major markets worldwide. Its opening last October was another milestone in the company’s history and marked our physical arrival in this city, celebrated the world over for its design. Our location, at Carrer de València, 214 in the heart of Barcelona’s historic Eixample neighbourhood, is a modern space where you can see, touch and experience our designs, as well as discover the latest launches from both brands.

What will you find in this showroom?

After a total overhaul, we’re ready to offer visitors a unique and modern experience where they can explore all our designs and envision potential opportunities for their workspace. The space has been designed by Jorge Herrera Studio, a design firm we’ve been collaborating with for some time, known for creating esPattio products like Amivera, Nota and Noray.

During the visit, our customers will be able to explore a variety of products designed for museum furniture, hotel furnishings, restaurant furniture and office furniture, among other uses. esPattio’s designs seek to strike a balance between sustainable furniture, comfort and soft seating design in workspaces. So, if you’re looking to make your furniture more eco-friendly, this showroom offers a selection of thoughtfully designed products that align with that philosophy.

Barcelona, a historic capital of design

For decades, Barcelona has been regarded as the design capital of Europe. Artists like Miró and Gaudí have filled the city with works where colour plays a leading role. It was unthinkable for a brand like esPattio, which champions colour among its core principles, not to have a presence in Barcelona. This has now been achieved with the showroom. With this renovation, esPattio aims to establish itself as one of the leading soft seating brands in Barcelona.

Our international expansion

Reopening our Barcelona showroom is a key step in our strategy to expand the brand worldwide and consolidate our presence in major markets across the interior furniture industry. With locations in Madrid, Paris, London and Dubai, alongside the reopening in Barcelona, Forma 5 and esPattio are emerging as a rapidly growing enterprise with plans to continue expanding across the globe.
