Christophe Pillet
With a career spanning nearly four decades and numerous international awards, Christophe Pillet is distinguished by a design approach that seeks to create understated, elegant, and timeless collections.
Christophe Pillet is a French designer with an international career that began in Milan in the 1980s. After four years in Italy, he settled in Paris, where he has lived and worked ever since. Over nearly four decades, his work has been recognized with various international design awards, such as the Red Dot Design Award, Wallpaper Design Award, and the Prix d’Excellence.
His motivation as a designer has matured over time. Today, he develops products driven by the idea of constantly simplifying, refining, and improving what has already been done. His approach focuses on durability, both material and aesthetic, favoring pieces that require less to endure over time.
Although Pillet has never adhered to a defined style, his work maintains constants that speak for themselves. These include elegance understood as courtesy, clarity as a principle, and simplicity as a language, always placing the person who will use the collection at the center of his design.
In addition to furniture design, Pillet has worked on architectural and interior design projects, including a restaurant in Casablanca and a hotel in Fez.
